【留學】印度同學煮飯記Part2 Homemade Indian Food Part 2

這次去印度同學家住了兩個晚上,印度大廚說她要煮飯給我吃~記錄一下這次吃了什麼東西哈哈!

I visited my Indian friend and stayed in her apartment for two nights! Let's see what I ate there.



先寫一下這次的食物有哪些 Food list

印度點心:India dessert

  1. Chakki-一種黃色的酥酥的糕點。An yellowish cake.
  2. Kaju katli-一種用銀箔包著的甜糕點。A little cake wrapped with silver foil.


印度飲料:Indian beverage

  1. Chai-印度奶茶。Indian milk tea.


印度早餐:Indian breakfast

  1. Cheese chutney-吐司夾起司、香菜醬和印度恰奇恰瑪撒拉香料粉。toast with cheese, coriander sauce and chaat masala.
  2. Poha-蔬菜香炒扁平米飯。vegetable pan-fried with flat rice.


印度正餐:Indian meal

  1. Pav bhaji-蔬菜煮成醬類,搭配圓形麵包一起吃。kind of like vegetable sauce and eat with pav bread.

Day1

三天兩夜的第一天,晚上到她家,因為晚餐已經吃飽了,我們就吃了小點心宵夜。

On the first night I arrived, I had dinner so we ate some snacks and dessert.


Chakki

Chakki的包裝。 The package of Chakki.


Chakki是一種黃色的酥酥的糕點。吃起來像鹹蛋黃,鹹鹹甜甜,但是是全素的點心。Yello. It tastes like yolk (salty and sweet) in moon cakes, but it's for vegans. 



Kaju katli

Kaju katli的包裝。The package of Kaju katli.


Kaju katli事用銀箔包起來的小糕點。非常華麗也非常甜。用銀箔包著,所以閃閃發光,視覺效果非常迷人。Extrodinary pretty! It wraps with shinny silver foil. Very sweet.

Chakki勝。Chakki吃起來鹹甜滋味都有,口感又酥又軟,整體風味很豐富~
Chakki won. It tastes charming with sweet and salty seasoning, and I like the texture.




Day2

過了一晚,印度大廚要來煮早餐!我們要吃什麼呢?

要吃的就是印度奶茶chai配吐司!吐司可不是白吐司而已,而是夾起司、香菜醬和印度恰奇恰瑪撒拉香料粉的Cheese chutney! Inndian chef cooked chai and toasts! Toasts were not just toast. Toasts were added cheese, coriander sauce and chaat masala. They are called Chese chutney. 


Cheese chutney

材料:吐司、起司、奶油、香菜醬和印度恰奇恰瑪撒拉香料粉(chaat masala)

用具:平底鍋

Ingredient: Toast, cheese, butter, coriander sauce and chaat masala.

Appliance: pan







做法:recipe

1. 白吐司塗上香菜醬,撒上印度香料chaat masala。 Add coriander sauce and chaat masal on toasts.


2. 再蓋上起司一片,蓋上後蓋起另一片吐司。 Put a cheese on it and put another toast on it.


3. 切一點奶油熱鍋,把包好料的吐司放進去煎一下。 Add some butter into the pan and put the toast in it.



4. 變成金黃色就可以起鍋囉! Make them into golden color.


chai

材料:茶葉chai、牛奶、糖、薑

用具:鍋子、篩子、磨泥器

Ingredient: chai, milk, sugar, ginger.

Appliance: pan, sieve, fine grater


做法:recipe

1. 鍋子放入一杯水(約200cc),切一塊薑磨成泥放進去。Add a cup of water(200cc) and grind ginger into the water and spoil it.


2. 加入兩平匙的chai,及三湯匙的糖(依個人喜好調整),煮滾後轉小火。add two spoon of chai and three spoon of sugar. turn into mild fire after it spoils.


3. 過一陣子後加入約150cc的牛奶,可以把火轉大一點點,可依個人喜好調整奶量多寡!Add 150cc milk.


4. 煮到奶茶膨脹後,火關小或拿開冷卻一下,重複如此三次。cook until it swollen, take away from the fire to cool down a bit and put it back until spoil again three times.

5. 最後要用篩子過濾,就可以啦!use sieve to filter chai!

這就是我們的第一個早餐囉!These are our first breakfast! 


吃完早餐後,我們就出門玩,直到晚上吃晚餐回家覓食。After the breakfast, we went out and came back at night for dinner.

這一餐吃的是昨天大廚先做的Pav bhaji,這樣可以減少玩耍一天後的飢餓時間!We ate Pav bhaji which was cooked by the chef in advance. 


Pav bhaji

材料:bhaji、洋蔥、香菜、圓形麵包(我們用漢堡麵包取代)

Ingredient: bhaji, onion, coriander, pav bread

把洋蔥和香菜切碎,在bhaji上放一片奶油,要吃多少洋蔥再自己加到自己盤子。麵包用奶油香煎後,放到盤子上,和bhaji一起吃!

mix mince onion and coriander. put a slice of butter on bhaji, 

 
好吃好吃!yummy!




Day3

第二頓早餐一樣煮chai,但這次加了兩顆丁香和少量胡椒,大廚說這樣對喉嚨很好。味道有丁香的香味,也是好喝~
We also had chai for the second breakfast, but she added two syringa and a little pepper for throat. 

另一道早餐料理叫做Poha
And we had Poha.

Poha

材料:扁平米、洋蔥、豌豆、印度香料(辣椒粉和薑黃粉)
Ingredients: flattened rice, onion, peas, turmeric and spicy powder. 






用具:平底鍋、篩子
Appliance: pan, sieve

做法:recipe

1. 扁平米拿一個大碗泡水約兩分鐘即可(泡太久會太軟)。Put flattened rice into a bowl with water. Take it out around two minutes.


2. 等的時候把洋蔥切碎。chop an onion.

3. 把扁平米撈起來,用篩子把水瀝乾,要把水壓出來。如果沒有篩子就用手代替,這張照片是用手把水壓乾的。Use a sieve to take the rice out and press the water away. If you don't have a sieve, then you can use your hand to squeeze it instead.

4. 開火,放油,翻炒洋蔥和碗豆。Pan-fry onion and peas

5. 加入扁平米翻炒。Add rice into the pan

6. 加入辣椒粉和薑黃粉翻炒就變成漂亮的金黃色!差不多就可以起鍋了!Add turmeric and spices. 

我朋友喜歡撒上另一種香料調味,所以我也一起撒了!好吃~My friend also likes to add other spices on Poha. 


Chai

第二天的chai,嘗試沾了toastea吃,是可以當點心的吃法。不過~我覺得沒有特別好吃XD
We had chai with toastea. Like a snack, but I don't think it's really good.

以上就是這次印度飲食文化體驗。All of the above is the Indian food I ate.
